The first year was mostly spent to set up the system of electronic laboratory. In the coming year, we wish to develop more collaboration within the members. Also, we would like to take the advantage of the electronic system to facilitate the lab member meetings and exchange of the information between the members. The web-camera presentations in the opening ceremony (November, 2005) were excellent and we wish to have similar scientific presentations from the member on a more regular basis.

For these, we plan the following activities.
1) Enrich the content of the homepage and send out more information. Information includes scientific achievement by the
members, notification of domestic and international meetings of the related field, recruitment opportunities of students,
postdocs, and other positions, funding and scholarships, etc.
2) These information will not only be posted on the HP, but also will be transmitted to each member via e-mail. For that we
would like to generate a group e-mail account to which one can send the information and through which every member
  gets the information.
3) Organize regular cyber network meeting: e.g. every other month
•Exchange new results, discuss issues of interest
•The members of the unit lab will take turns in presenting the newest results on
  •this cyber meeting
4) The second eIMBL workshop (2006) is being planned in Hong Kong, pending the funding is granted by the Hong Kong
  government. (C.L will submit application)
5) Technical workshop
•Coorganization with ICGEB (Dr. Falaschi) or Coorganization with AMBO
•Dr. Seo may organize the first eIMBL technical workshop at Dejon in 2006-2007.
6) Recruitment of a new member:
•Countries: From China, Singapore, Taiwan, or Malaysia etc.
•Subject: On DNA replication in plants, viruses etc.
