1 The first eIMBL workshop (July 11-13, 2005; Seoul National University, International Vaccine Institute)
Ten members out of 13 attended this symposium, and did presentation. It was a very successful meeting and a lot of discussion was made regarding the operation of eIMBL.

2 eIMBL OPENING CEREMONY & SYMPOSIUM (November 17, 2005, Seoul National University, Main Auditorium, International Vaccine Institute)
Two members participated in this symposium as a speaker, and Hisao Masai joined the meeting through internet. The web conference worked well, and set a standard for the future symposium.

3 Collaboration within the members
Masai and Hwang collaborated on the functional characterization of human replication/ checkpoint factors. Hwang sent antibody against TopBP1 protein to Masai for analysis of interaction of Cdc7, fork protection factors and TopBP1. Masai sent Cdc7 and MCM antibodies to Hwang for characterization of the phenotypes induced by TopBP1 depletion. Other collaborations are described in the research activity overview.
